Carol Watts
A poet and critic, Carol Watts is Professor of Literature and Poetics at Birkbeck, University of London. Her poetry includes the collections many weathers wildly comes (Spiralbound/Susakpress 2015), Sundog (Veer Books, 2013), Occasionals (Reality Street Editions, 2011), and Wrack (Reality Street Editions, 2007), and a number of artist’s books. Her chapbooks include the series When blue light falls (Oystercatcher, 2008, 2010, 2012), this is red (Torque Press, 2009) and the sonnet sequences Mother Blake (2012) and brass, running (2006), both with Equipage. She often works collaboratively, including with George Szirtes on an exchange called 56, which was published by Arc in 2016.
