Hammour Ziada
Born and raised in Omdurman, Hammour Ziada cut his teeth writing for a number of left-wing newspapers in Sudan. He published his first collection of short stories in 2008, and since then has published another short story collection and two novels, the more recent of which, Shawq al-Darwish, won the 2014 Naguib Mahfouz Prize for Literature. Ziadeh currently resides in Cairo, Egypt.
