Ilze Jansone
Ilze Jansone (born 1982) is a Latvian writer and theologian. Jansone studied at the University of Latvia in the Faculty of Theology. She is best known for the short story ‘The Blind Glass’ (2006), her novels Insomnia (2010) and The Only (2015), and the collection of stories Umurkums or Humorous Feminism (2013). Since 2013, Jansone has participated in the creation of a collection of articles The Birth of a Woman, and compiled a collection of essays entitled Nation Chronicles (together with D. Hanov and P. Daiju).
