Joel Lane
Joel Lane was a novelist, short story writer, poet and critic. He was the author of four collections of supernatural horror stories (Where Furnaces Burn, The Earth Wire, The Lost District and The Terrible Changes) plus a weird novella and three collections of poems. He also edited an anthology of subterranean horror tales (Beneath the Ground) and co-edited an anthology of urban crime and suspense stories (Birmingham Noir, with Steve Bishop) and an anthology of weird and speculative fiction stories against racism and fascism (Never Again, with Allyson Bird). He received the World Fantasy Award in 2013 and the British Fantasy Award twice.
