Murrat Gülsoy

Murat Gülsoy’s works explore the metafictional potential of self-consciousness with ‘page-turning’ plots. Besides short stories, he has written four books addressing modern masters Kafka, Borges, Eco, Stern, Fowles and Orhan Pamuk. Stehlen Sie dieses Buch was the first of his books to be translated into German, and his novel inspired from Max Ernst’s collages, A Week of Kindness in Istanbul, has been translated to Chinese, Macedonian, Romanian, and Bulgarian.
